Talk to the Archer Lady
The lady playing darts is very good – she hits the bullseye nearly every time! If she’s half as good with her bow and arrow as she is with her darts then she’ll make a fantastic addition to your team.
You clear your throat to try and catch her attention. Unfortunately your cough makes her jump in surprise, putting her off just as she throws her next dart.
You both watch with horror as the dart flies through the air and, instead of hitting the dartboard, hits the bad tempered dwarf, Grumpy Dave, right in the bottom.
“YEOWWW!!” shouts Grumpy Dave leaping up in pain. “WHO THREW THAT DART? I’LL HAVE THEIR GUTS FOR GARTERS!”
But before Grumpy Dave has even stopped rubbing his sore bottom you and Archer Lady have slipped out of the Tavern and are walking quickly down the road, trying not to look suspicious.
You ask Archer Lady if she would be interested in going on an adventure.
“Yes, I might as well” she says “After all, I don’t think I’m going to be able to go back to the Tavern for a little while. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Grumpy Dave quite that angry before!”
